We read and hear so much about the problems that have engulfed our lives and our societies as a whole, but no one seems to be talking about the solution. Poverty, illiteracy, rape, extra marital affairs, murder, robberies... the list is countless. What is any government doing about it? Are any individuals doing anything about it? It does not seem so since the world remains dark in this era of science and technological. This in fact means that science and modernization has provided comforts to the body, not to the soul as most of us remain restless despite of all this development. Even great nations like United States have failed to control crime and give a practical solution to their citizens or to the world.

Is there any solution to poverty, crime, rape? Most people believe that there is need of a system that can pull the humankind out of this state of chaos. What is that system? What are those laws? Is there any answer? Or will our coming generations continue to undergo what our forefathers did and what we are facing today? Name it religion, philosophy or whatever, but mankind has been in dire need of a structure, a code of life which would minimize the plight of humanity if not abolish it altogether.

The scheme of nature portrays a specific pattern. All the laws of nature are following a particular scheme and they do not go against it. Similarly, we need a pattern to govern us or we will become like brutes, like most of us have become. Freedom of choice, liberalism and modernization even needs some principles or our societies will be like jungles.

The creation (man) that is supposed to be better than angles has fallen even below the level of animals. The reason being rush of individual perceptions taking over religious norms. All religions and prophets showed mankind the way of life; the scriptures were in fact “Operation Manuals” for this machine “MAN.” We have done away with the Manuals and thus there are problems in the functionality. Those who are adhering to the religious values are labeled as “religious people” and are not considered a part of the modern and developed world. In fact, these religious people technically deserve to be called “human beings” since they are working in the light of the Manual.... or is there any other way to salvation?

Advancement in science and technology has brought improvement to the materialistic aspects of our lives but our mind continues to suffer.

Absoultely right Arpita.

A complete system is required. Do you have any clue what should it be? If you do, i would love to hear. I will try to continue the same in my next article, a bit elaborate (if God wills) :)

I will say that with the modern technology, we the human have further gone deep into the ocean of materialistic world and lost our true objective of uniting with the Supreme Lord.

There is no difference between animals and human as they also search their food (human do job), eat, play and sleep, to wake up again and do the same. Till one leaves the world.

What extra we are doing to purify our spirit, which only we can do, not any other creature in this universe?

A systematic way of human life should be to balance the time and action in developing spiritual faculties under the guidance of true living Guru (only ability provided by HIM to human) and earning some livelihood to live honestly, discharging the responsibilities of society and family.

When people at large will understand this simple concept of human life, the wisdom will prevail in the society, across nations.

This will surely happen some day!!!!

I completely agree with you Dr. Ratan. But what we are saying here is a complete Demonstartion, a system as well as a role model who can tell us as to what to do in which role in life. Having a guru, in mysticism, varies from person to person as far as i know. In spiritualism different gurus are suitable for different people. Like my Guru may not be the one for you although both are on the right path. However, what the world at large requires is a system and role model to follow. WE need social as well as personal laws to lead us to where we belong. We need clear discription of do’s and dont’s. Can you tell a system which can be universally applied?

Spiriualism to me is not the answer since common man cannot do it... simple people cannot abondon the world...its like Masters or PHD degree. You need to go to school and college first. What is that school or college?

It is matter of understanding, who have seen what and who is able to understand what? People are there in this world who follow a true spiritual life style with full social and family responsibility.

It is only that, they are being demonstrated, as how to do that on day to day basis, by the true teacher.

Exactly Dr. Ratan. The true teacher has to be perfect in all aspects and roles of life.

Prophet Muhammad fulfills that criteria. About the fact that he needs to be living, this is not a prerequisite as we have all the account of his life and thousands of christains and hindus read his life and embrace islam, discovering it to be the prefect religion and accepting Muhammad as the final Avtar and Guru.

Martin lings book Muhammad is one of the best pieces of Muhammad’s life. Lings later converted to islam as is named as Abu Bakr Siraj Ad-Din. Plus there are thousands of sayings of Muhammad that enlighten and cover EVERY aspect of life. Nevertheless, Quran itself is enough to guide one if anyone would get a chance to read it even as a story book :)

That is the basic problem. It is very difficult to read and follow the teachings, as you yourself has mentioned
”Quran itself is enough to guide one if anyone would get a chance to read it”.

When we have a True living Guru to follow the teachings mentioned in the Holy Books, the process is very simple.

Dr. Ratan we need to read the scripture since it is direct from GOD Himself. Muhammad (may peace be upon him) was unlettered man... Quran is direct communication with GOD. The experince is illuminating!

Your thinking is correct but it is strictly again in the influence of mystics. And i would again say, normal people need normal social laws which are simple and fulfill their physical needs as well. Spiritualism is confind to few elevated souls...Islam address all :)

I beg to differ, as it is not your fault. You have grown up in different situations, from away from such societies which are following the truly balanced life style for reaching the true objective of life.

It is perfect to differ Dr. Ratan. But there is nothing wrong with exploring others perspectives and beliefs. I have in fact explored the spiritualism you are talking about and i am a part of it, but the world at large needs to follow the perfect and final Avtar and Guru. Moreover, there is no compulsion in matters of belief and religion according to Quran...
only God can judge, i am no one :)
