You said, “I will remember you when it will rain, when the sky will change attires and wind would say things to the trees, when I would feel lonely in the midst of company or sad while laughing, when I would wake up in the morning and would not be able to see or hear you, when I would pick up the phone but won’t call, remembering that our fates do not meet, when I see would see crowds and none of them would be you, when I would talk to everyone but that will not include you… I will remember you.”

You said, “I will always be with you though we will be apart, when our only abode would be dreams or hearts. I will be with you when you would feel lonely, when you would need a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry or just a reassuring smile or a gentle hug for no reason why… you won’t see me darling, but I will be with you.”
You said, “We will fuse in spirit if not in flesh, we will dwell in heart if not that hut by the riverside.” You said, “One day it will matter no more, one day these tears will become our strength and we won’t mourn… time will heal our wounds for sure.”
You said… you said…I can’t really recall…
…and now that I sit here and our love is a thing so lost long ago… the pillow of my bed does not soak anymore (just a drop or two), and the emptiness of my days is filled by the noise of the road, and my nights are weary thinking of you, and I have made friends with those whom I did not know, and I realize there is so much besides you to explore, and I know I am not the only one bearing the blow… (a tear has blurred my vision)… I can barely recall all you said… but there are a few things that I cannot forget…
Looking forward to read more from You.
I like that description.
Anyways, it was a really nice reading. It’s a great blend of verse and prose, thoroughly impressed.
Thanks man! :)
Kahin jab door parbat per
kiran koi fisalti hai,
mujhe tum yaad aate ho.
Kabhi nasoor bankar tum
mere dil me kasakte ho,
mujhe parwah nahi lekin,
ghataon ki gali me jab
kabhi badli sisakti hai,
mujhe tum yaad aate ho.
Mujhe kuch ghum nahi hota
hai teri bewafai ka,
mujhe tau iski aadat hai,
magar amraion me door
jab koel kuhukti hai.
mujhe tum yaad aate ho.
Jo jalke mur gaye hote
tumhe hum kuch nahi kehte,
bhala kehne ko tha bhi kya?
Magar Sajkar jab kisi
dulhan ki doli nikalti hai,
mujhe tum yaad aate ho.
If yes, please give me your autograph pls ;)
Khwabo se tumko jagati to hogi,
Angdaion ke waste utthe jo bahen teri,
”Balam” ki yaad tujhko satati to hogi.

Tere dar pe gira tau utha loge kya?
Pehloo me apne jagah doge kya?
Aagosh me tere jo maut aa jaye,
Aanchal ko Kafan bana doge kya?
Arz kiya hai...
Raat youn dil mae tere khoe hue see yad aee,
jaisey veerany mein chupke say bahar a jaey
jaisey sehra mein holay say chalay baad- e-naseem
jaisey beemar ko bay wajha qarar a jaey...
Ehsaas, dil ke jazbaat badal jaate hain.
Naam kiska koi kyon kar yaad rakhe,
Waqt ke saath khayaalaat badal jaate hain.
Humaein fikr har pal ke wo rooth na jaaen,
Fir bhi woh kyon bebaat badal jaate hain.
Youn he mausam ke ada dekh kar yaad aya,
Kis qader jald badal jatey hein insaan janaa
Jee raha tha har roz, jo tha sapna,
Par kab ye khushiyaan jahaan ko raas aati hai;
Har shakhs badlaa, fiza badli, badlaa mausam.
Connect it with the last one.
Naagawaar guzraa, iska har sitam,
Kab jazba, khayaalaat badal ye paaegi;
Ik roz hoga hum par bhi, iska kuchh karam.
Still more to come.........
Hum jab fir mile, ajnabi ho gaye,
Ye zindagi, dil, jahaan, sabab gham ka hai;
Sabse dosti chahi, ban gaye dushman.
Urdu happens to be the language in which God’s converse.
@Ramesh Balam ’Mujhe tum yaad aate ho’ is an awesome piece!
You said, perhaps, all that is to be said but is mostly unsaid in relationships broken or otherwise.
And sorry I haven’t gone through the above poetry yet...will surely do that soon.
